Data we collect
Your email address, to show and send you your result or to save a reservation. Your diagnostic answers and your result. Your choice about marketing emails (a separate box, never ticked by default). Visit statistics that never contain your email.
Purposes and legal bases
Result and reservation: performing your request. Marketing emails: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Audience measurement: legitimate interest (visit statistics without cookies or IP addresses); you can refuse it at any time. Advertising: your consent.
Audience measurement and trackers
Before you choose, a random session identifier stays in the page's memory, with no cookie and nothing stored on your device. If you accept audience measurement, this identifier is kept on your device. If you refuse, no statistics are sent. Advertising pixels load only after you agree. You can change your mind at any time with the "Privacy preferences" link at the bottom of the page.
Recipients and processors
Hosting, database and bot protection: Cloudflare. Audience measurement: PostHog (European Union). Emails: Brevo (European Union). Advertising, only with your consent: Google Ads, Reddit and Meta.
Transfers outside the European Union and Québec
Data is stored in the European Union (Cloudflare database in the EU jurisdiction, PostHog in Frankfurt, Brevo in France and Germany). Cloudflare's network processes requests worldwide, including in the United States, under its data protection clauses. Advertising pixels (United States) load only with your consent. A privacy impact assessment was carried out before any transfer outside Québec.
Retention periods
Diagnostic results (email, answers, result): deleted automatically 30 days after the test. Founding Pass reservations: kept until the service opens, 6 months at most, then deleted; if the project is dropped, deleted within 30 days. Visit statistics: no email or IP address.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent: write to contact@verbessa.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the CNIL (France) or the Commission d'accès à l'information (Québec).
